Kasiak Research is focusing on allogeneic stem cell therapeutic products for various clinical indications. Data accumulated in vitro and in vivo, supports the concept of MSCs as universal stem cells, suggesting that allogeneic MSCs can be transplanted without the need for donor-recipient matching and are therefore safe, easy and effective for cell therapy. Kasiak Research takes advantage of this ability of MSCs for stem cell therapy to design treatments for veterinary diseases.

Kasiak Research has established allogeneic equine and canine adipose derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) lines. These stem cells are clinically eligible and are processed in class B clean rooms. They are pre-screened for relevant viruses as per the OIE guidelines at an accredited laboratory in Germany. Before release, each batch is quality tested for their differentiation capacity and screened for Endotoxin and Mycoplasma.

Our Master Cell Banks (MCB) of equine MSCs and canine MSCs are derived from adipose tissue samples obtained from thoroughbred equine and pedigree canine species.
